RED BASE is proud to announce “Spatial Room No. 2” – an extraordinary solo exhibition by acclaimed artist Paul Bai. This thought-provoking showcase reimagines the concept of the “spatial room” through a series of mesmerizing orange-hued paintings that embody the transition between sunrise and sunset, inviting viewers to explore the interplay between East and West.
Inspired by Erich Buchholz’s 1922 Berlin Studio
Drawing from the iconic 1922 painted studio by German artist Erich Buchholz, Paul Bai delves into the “in-between” moments that exist conceptually, physically, and experientially. His works challenge perceptions of time, space, and subjective boundaries through fluid, chromatic explorations. Bai’s paintings serve as a vivid metaphor for the merging of cultures and perspectives, making this exhibition a must-see for art enthusiasts.
