REDBASE has contemporary art spaces in Australia and Indonesia. We are dedicated to fostering cross-cultural discourse across the Asia Pacific, while growing a non-profit Foundation that oversees impactful programming.
REDBASE Art Sydney (established in 2021) showcases contemporary art from the Asia Pacific. With a strong curatorial practice, we produce impactful exhibitions that amplify the creative expression of artists from China, Korea, Indonesia, and beyond. In doing so, REDBASE Sydney promotes unique cross-cultural connections for an Australian audience. The gallery supports and provides funding for our Foundation program in Indonesia. REDBASE Yogyakarta Foundation (founded in 2014) is in Central Java, Indonesia. The Foundation is a respected space for Indonesian contemporary art and boasts a rich history of hosting comprehensive cultural programs and exhibitions. The Foundation significantly contributes to the professional growth of numerous Indonesian and international artists through artist residencies and award programs.
