Heri Dono was born in 1960, Indonesia
He graduated from Indonesian Institute of Art, Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
Studied Wayang kulit (leather puppets) under Sukasman, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Graduated from University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia. And graduated from Fellowship for Curatorial Work, IFA Stuttgart, Germany.
