Danni Febriana was born in 1993, Indonesia
Graduated from Art Education, Semarang State University, Indonesia.
“Shocking beauty is goat; last dinner ”is a part of a series that he’s been working on since 2015, Hening Diantara (Silence between). This work still elaborates on his deep interest in traumatic issues and awareness as a common thread in all of his works.
In this work he presents a picture of charcoal on a canvas with the subject of a woman decorated with deer antlers who is surprised to see the ‘tumpeng’ dish she is about to eat explodes like an eruption of a volcano. With this pose, he hopes that he can make a similar small picture that reminds us of Da Vinci’s “the last supper” painting and becomes an afterthought for us to dig back our awareness of the images scattered around the “dining table”.
