Redbase Art Gallery represents a diverse group of established and emerging contemporary artists. The gallery has a strong curatorial program and significant exhibitions.
Redbase Art Gallery Sydney was established in Sydney in 2021 and has a strong focus on Southeast Asia contemporary art, especially promoting Indonesian and Chinese artists into international platforms.
Redbase Art Gallery is dedicated to creating an intercultural dialogue and a unique platform between Australian and international contemporary art.
Redbase Foundation was founded by director Nancy Nan in 2014 and is one of the most prominent art spaces for Indonesian contemporary art. Redbase has intensive art programs and exhibitions. Artist residencies as one of our permanent programs has established many Indonesian emerging artist careers professionally. Art Education and Young artist Awards are the significant contributions to the local communities.
For over 26 years, Nancy Nan has been directing art galleries in Singapore, China, New York, Indonesia and currently directing Redbase Art Gallery in Sydney. She has worked with many international art museums including MoMA, Guggenheim, and the Museum of Arts and Design in New York.
